Shopify Sync Guide

Qoblex synchronizes with Shopify in real time, giving you the ability to manage your Shopify products, stock levels, and sales orders through Qoblex. This article outlines all the details on how data is synchronized between Shopify and Qoblex. 

How is data synced through

The table below lists the actions and resulting transactions between Qoblex and Shopify

Update a product in QoblexThis creates a new product on Shopify.
This behavior is configurable. Check out the Shopify Installation Guide for more details.
Delete a product in QoblexThis deletes the corresponding product in Shopify.
 Create a new product in ShopifyCreates a new product in Qoblex
This behavior is configurable. Check out the Shopify Installation Guide for more details.
Delete a product in ShopifyThe link between Qoblex and Shopify is deleted. The product remains in Stock&buy. To delete a product from Shopify and Stock&buy, you need to delete it in Shopify and then in Qoblex.
Update a product in ShopifyThis will update the corresponding product in Qoblex.

Create a sale order in QoblexThe order remains within Qoblex and is not synced with Shopify.
The inventory level changes resulting from the allocation or shipping of the order are automatically synced with Shopify.
The stock level sync is configurable. Check out the Shopify Installation Guide for more details.
Create a sale order in ShopifyThis creates an order within Qoblex.
The inventory level changes resulting from the order are automatically synced with Shopify.

Create a refund in Qoblex
The refund remains within Qoblex and is not synced with Shopify. The refunded items will be put back to stock. The inventory level changes resulting from the allocation or shipping of the order are automatically synced with Shopify.

Create a refund in Shopify
This creates a refund within Qoblex. Inventory is changed depending on the refund policy used in Shopify.
No Restock refunds: This has no impact on the available stock.
Canceled refunds: The refunded product units are put back into stock.
Returned refunds: The refunded product units are put back into stock.
