Inventory management software for sporting and outdoor goods
Sporting goods sell in size runs, in seasons and in sets, to shoppers, to clubs and to shops. Qoblex holds every size as a variant of one product, sells a starter set as a bundle that draws down its parts, gives clubs and stockists their own prices on a private portal, and shows you what is running low before the season does.
Where sporting goods stock goes wrong
It is seasonal, it comes in sizes, and half of it is sold as a set of other things.
The season arrives before the stock does
Demand doubles in a month. If the reorder point is a feeling rather than a report, the peak is spent apologising for the sizes you did not order.
A starter set that oversells its parts
Racket, bag and balls sell alone and as a kit. Listed as its own SKU, the kit shows stock the bag does not have.
A club price, a shop price, a web price
The same jersey at three prices in three places. Kept in three spreadsheets, one is always out of date, and it is the club’s.
Size runs as variants, sets as bundles
A product carries its sizes and colours as variants, with stock, barcodes and reorder points on each, so the size that ran out shows up before the product total dips. A starter set is a bundle: sold as one, its components come down when it sells, and each part stays sellable on its own.
Team kit is a bundle too: a set of sizes and numbers sold to a club as one order line, drawn from the same stock as the shop floor.
- Sizes and colours as variants; stock and reorder points per variant
- Starter sets and team kits as bundles that draw down their parts
- Barcodes per variant, scanned from a phone

Clubs and shops at their own price, on your stock
Clubs, schools and stockists each get a price list, with their discounts and minimums, and a login to a private store on your domain, where they order against your live stock. The order lands in the same inventory as your web sales and posts to your accounts as an invoice.
Your own Shopify or WooCommerce store, and the shop counter through Shopify POS, sell from the same count. The last large in red is sold once.
- Per-account price lists for clubs, schools and stockists
- A private trade portal on your own domain
- Web store and counter on one shared count

Built for a season, and the one after
Each piece explained on its own page.
Reorder before the peak
The reorder report shows every variant below its point across every location.
Forecasting
Demand forecasting on Business and above, from your own sales history by variant.
Landed cost on imports
Freight and duty allocated by value across the shipment, so a unit’s cost is the real one.
Shop, warehouse, event stock
Stock per location with transfers between them, including the stock you take to an event.
Sell at the event
Take orders and check stock on iPhone, iPad or Android, and scan with the camera.
Returns to your books
A return adjusts stock and COGS and posts a credit note to Xero or QuickBooks Online.

I have been working with Qoblex inventory program, Shopify POS, and Xero accounting -fantastic integration between all 3, which is vital given that I am a small business and do not have any extra time for double entries. The integration to date has been seamless… I highly recommend this integration for any small business.
Frequently asked questions
Sizes, sets, club pricing and the season.
Is each size its own product?
No. It is a variant of one product. Stock, barcodes, prices and reorder points sit at variant level; the product stays one thing to manage.
Can a club order a whole team kit at once?
Yes. A team kit is a bundle, with the sizes and numbers as components, sold as one line, drawn from the same stock as everything else. The club orders it through their portal at their price.
How does a starter set avoid overselling the bag?
The set’s availability is derived from its components, so it can never show more than the scarcest part allows. Selling the set draws each part down; selling the bag alone moves the set count too.
Can I see the season coming?
The reorder report shows every variant below its reorder point across every location, and demand forecasting on Business and above uses your own sales history by variant.
Can I take stock to an event and sell from it?
Yes. Event stock is a location: transfer into it, sell from it on the mobile app, transfer the remainder back. Nothing is lost between the van and the shop.
