Selling on Amazon is easy to start and hard to account for: the orders live in Seller Central, the stock lives wherever you keep it, and the two only meet in a spreadsheet somebody updates on Fridays. Qoblex brings the Amazon side in automatically (orders every few minutes, returns and refunds behind them), so a sale on Amazon draws down the same stock, and carries the same real cost, as a sale anywhere else.
Amazon sales stop being a separate set of books
This integration runs inbound: Amazon activity arrives in Qoblex on a timer. What that buys you is one stock figure and one set of costs that already know about Amazon, rather than a channel you reconcile after the fact.
We needed to centralise our inventory as we simply could not keep up anymore. So glad we stumbled across Qoblex… After trailing the app it did exactly that and even opened up a pandora’s box of other features that we are now utilising and saving us even more time.
Frequently asked questions
Which way it runs, what it files where, and the two things to set up before it works.
Does Qoblex push my stock levels to Amazon?
No. The Amazon integration is inbound: orders, returns and refunds come from Amazon into Qoblex. Qoblex does not send a stock figure back out to Amazon, so your Amazon listing quantities stay managed in Seller Central. What you gain is that Amazon sales are deducted from your Qoblex stock, so every other channel is selling from a number that already accounts for them.
Which customer do Amazon orders come in under?
A single default customer that you choose, not the individual Amazon shopper, because Amazon does not hand over shopper identities for this. The shopper’s shipping address is carried across and stored on the order, so you can see where the parcel is going, but the order is billed to your default customer. It is required: without it, orders cannot be created.
Which location do they come out of?
A default location you set on the integration, also required. Every Amazon order is allocated against it, so choose the one you actually ship Amazon orders from.
Will it import my Amazon catalogue?
No, and this is the part worth reading twice. The product import links Amazon listings to products that already exist in Qoblex by matching seller SKU to Qoblex SKU. It does not create products. Get your catalogue into Qoblex first, with SKUs that match Amazon, and then import.
What happens if a line does not match a product?
The order is still created and the line still shows with its Amazon name, quantity and price, but with no Qoblex product attached, so there is nothing to allocate or deduct against it. Map the ASIN and the next update from Amazon attaches the right variant.
Do returned units go back into stock?
Not automatically. A return from Amazon is recorded against the original order and marked authorised, without restocking. If the goods came back saleable, adjust the stock yourself. See adjustments and stocktake.
Can I sell in several countries?
Yes. Each connection is one Amazon marketplace, so you connect each country separately and each gets its own default customer and location. Twenty marketplaces are supported.
What happens if I disconnect it?
Uninstalling stops the automatic sync and removes the connection, its defaults and its ASIN mappings. The products and sales orders already in Qoblex stay exactly where they are. See uninstalling Amazon.
You sell on Shopify. You also list on Amazon. Maybe there’s a WooCommerce store, a wholesale channel, and a spreadsheet holding it all together at 11 p.m. on a Sunday. Sound familiar? When your systems don’t talk to each other, you oversell stock, retype the same order three times, and lose hours reconciling numbers that […]
Amazon FBA restock sees only Amazon demand. Multichannel demand forecasting builds one per-product forecast across all channels, so you buy for total demand.
