ShipStation is where you buy carrier labels. Qoblex is where the order, the stock behind it and the cost of it live. Without a connection, the join between the two is somebody reading an order off one screen and typing it into another, once per order, every day. Connect them and you select the orders, choose a carrier for the batch, and they arrive in ShipStation as shipments ready to label.
One way, on purpose
Orders originate in Qoblex and go out to ShipStation. Nothing comes back, and the page says so in each direction it matters: this is a handover to your label desk, not a two-way sync.
We have been loving Qoblex app – this has been a great system for managing inventories between our stores. And their support team is great to work with – they listen to your needs and work hard to improve the user experience!
Frequently asked questions
What the connection does, which way it runs, and what it deliberately leaves to ShipStation.
Which way does information flow?
One way: Qoblex to ShipStation. You select orders in Qoblex and push them across as shipments. ShipStation does not send anything back into Qoblex.
Does it import my ShipStation orders?
No. Orders originate in Qoblex (typed in, imported, or arriving from a connected store) and are sent out to ShipStation. If your orders start life in ShipStation, this integration is the wrong way round for you.
Does Qoblex buy the shipping label?
No, and it does not try to. Qoblex hands ShipStation the shipment; you buy the carrier label and ship in ShipStation, with the carriers and rates you have already set up there.
Does sending an order change it in Qoblex?
No. Sending only creates or updates the shipment on the ShipStation side. The order is not dispatched, not marked shipped and not altered, and it does not have to be packed or dispatched before you send it.
What if I send the same order twice?
You get one shipment, updated. Each order is keyed to a single ShipStation shipment, so a second send revises the first rather than creating a duplicate.
What do I need to connect it?
A ShipStation account and its V2 API Production Key, from API Settings in ShipStation. Paste it into Qoblex, test the connection, and save. You also need the ShipStation permission on your Qoblex user. See users and permissions.
Can I change the carrier for one batch?
Yes. The send dialog is prefilled from your saved defaults and every field is editable for that batch alone. Changing it there does not change what the next send starts from.
Do tracking numbers come back into Qoblex?
Not today. The connection is outbound only, so tracking bought in ShipStation stays in ShipStation. If you need it against the Qoblex order, the API is the route.
Every mispicked order costs your business money. Every unnecessary step your pickers take adds up. And when you’re fulfilling orders across Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale channels simultaneously, inefficient warehouse picking can quickly become the bottleneck that limits your growth. Warehouse picking accounts for up to 55% of total warehouse operating costs, making it the single […]
You sell on Shopify. You also list on Amazon. Maybe there’s a WooCommerce store, a wholesale channel, and a spreadsheet holding it all together at 11 p.m. on a Sunday. Sound familiar? When your systems don’t talk to each other, you oversell stock, retype the same order three times, and lose hours reconciling numbers that […]
