The quotes table has a Products column that lets you review the line items on a quote without leaving the list. Each row shows how many products are on that quote, and selecting the cell opens a read-only dialog with the product name, quantity, price, discount, and line total.
Use this when you need a quick look at what was quoted, for example when comparing several quotes or answering a customer question, without opening the full quote in the sale-order workspace.
Open the products dialog
- Go to Sales > Quotes.
- Find the quote you want to inspect.
- In the Products column, select the cell for that quote.
The Products cell shows the number of line items on the quote next to an external-link icon. Hovering the cell shows the tooltip Check products details here. Selecting the cell opens a dialog titled Products that lists the quote’s line items.
What the dialog shows
The Products dialog lists one row per line item, with these columns:
- Product — the line item name, shown next to a small product image when the variant has one. When there is no image, a placeholder picture icon is shown instead. Hovering the name shows the full product name. The name is display only and is not a link.
- Quantity — the quantity quoted for that line.
- Price — the unit price for the line, formatted in the quote’s currency.
- Discount — the discount applied to the line, formatted in the quote’s currency.
- Total — the line total, formatted in the quote’s currency.
When a quote has many line items, the dialog is paginated. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the dialog to page through the list.
Enlarge a product image
When a line item has a product image, select the thumbnail in the Product column to open a larger preview of that image. Lines without an image show the placeholder icon, which is not clickable.
Close the dialog
Select Cancel in the dialog footer to return to the quotes list. Closing the dialog does not change the quote and does not refresh the list.
