Disconnecting removes the QuickBooks accounting integration from Qoblex. Qoblex revokes its connection to your QuickBooks company, deletes the stored QuickBooks credentials, and stops sending any new sales, purchase, inventory, or manufacturing records to QuickBooks. It does not delete or change anything that has already synced to QuickBooks — those records stay in your QuickBooks company.
This article shows you where the disconnect control is, what the confirmation prompt asks, and what Qoblex does after you confirm. After reading it you will know exactly what disconnecting does, what it leaves untouched, and what is involved in reconnecting later.
Disconnect the integration
- Go to Integrations.
- Open QuickBooks. The connected QuickBooks settings open, showing the Sales, Purchases, Manufacturing, Inventory, Tax mappings, and Sync Status tabs.
- At the bottom-left of the settings card, choose Disconnect.
- In the Confirm Disconnection from QuickBooks dialog, read the message Are you sure you want to uninstall “QuickBooks” integration ? and choose Confirm. To keep the integration, choose Cancel.
When you confirm, Qoblex disconnects QuickBooks and returns you to the Integrations page, where QuickBooks no longer appears as the connected accounting integration.
What Qoblex does when you confirm
Behind the scenes, confirming the disconnect makes Qoblex:
- revoke its connection to your QuickBooks company at QuickBooks;
- delete the stored QuickBooks credentials from Qoblex;
- stop routing new documents to QuickBooks;
- record an entry in the Activity Feed noting that the QuickBooks integration has been uninstalled.
Records that already synced to QuickBooks are not removed or altered — they remain in your QuickBooks company exactly as they were.
After disconnecting
On the Integrations page, confirm QuickBooks no longer shows as the connected accounting integration. Any sales, purchases, payments, inventory adjustments, or manufacturing entries created while disconnected will not sync to QuickBooks.
To start syncing to QuickBooks again, install and configure QuickBooks from the Integrations page. Reconnecting is a fresh setup: re-authorize the QuickBooks company and review your account, class, location, and tax-code mappings before you sync new transactions — previous mappings are not assumed to still be correct.
