Connecting WooCommerce is a two-step affair: you point Qoblex at your store and authorise it, then Qoblex opens a settings page where you decide how the two systems keep each other up to date. Those settings control which direction inventory, product, and price information flows, which warehouse locations feed the store and fulfil its orders, how Qoblex recognises the same product in both places, and which individual product details are shared. This article walks through the whole path: entering your store URL to start the connection, then each numbered section of the settings page in plain terms, with the defaults Qoblex applies. It also covers saving your configuration and disconnecting the store later. Once you understand these controls you can set the connection up to match how your business actually works and, for a brand new store, move on to importing your products.
Connecting your store
You start the connection from the Integrations page. 1. Open Integrations and find the WooCommerce tile. 2. Click Add Store. Qoblex opens the Add a WooCommerce store dialog. 3. Enter your store address in the box. The field is prefixed with https://, so type just your store name (domain) without the https:// prefix. Only secure stores running on HTTPS are supported. 4. Click Connect to my store. Qoblex sends you to WooCommerce to authorise the connection, then WooCommerce returns you to Qoblex once you approve it.
When you return from WooCommerce, the store first appears as a temporary connection while Qoblex waits for the store credentials to arrive from WooCommerce. Qoblex confirms it has received those credentials the first time you save; until then, saving can report that the credentials have not been received yet (see Troubleshooting).
Where the settings live
Once connected, open the store from the WooCommerce tile on the Integrations page to reach its settings. The page is organised into four numbered sections: 1. Inventory levels Synchronization 2. Sale Order Synchronization 3. Product Synchronization 4. Pricing Synchronization This article covers the sync direction, matching, and field choices in all four sections. The full location-selection rules for section 2 (choosing and prioritising the warehouses that fulfil WooCommerce orders) are covered in WooCommerce sales order sync settings.
Understanding sync direction
Most settings on this page are a choice of direction. A direction answers “who is in charge of this information, and where does a change flow to?” Qoblex offers up to four choices depending on the setting: – Do not sync: Qoblex and WooCommerce are kept independent for this piece of information. A change on one side is never pushed to the other. – Sync from Qoblex to WooCommerce: Qoblex is the source of truth. You make changes in Qoblex, and Qoblex writes them to WooCommerce. A manual change made directly in WooCommerce can be overwritten by Qoblex. – Sync from WooCommerce to Qoblex: WooCommerce is the source of truth. Changes made in WooCommerce flow into Qoblex, and a change made in Qoblex can be overwritten by WooCommerce. – Sync both ways: changes flow in both directions. Not every section offers all four choices. Inventory offers the first two, product information offers all four, and pricing offers the first three. Each section below states exactly what it shows.
Section 1: Inventory levels Synchronization
This section answers: “How would you like us to sync your inventory levels (quantity adjustments, stock transfers, purchases…)?” The dropdown offers two choices: – Do not sync: stock-level changes made in Qoblex will not sync to WooCommerce, and stock-level changes made in WooCommerce will not sync to Qoblex. – Sync from Qoblex to WooCommerce: this is the default. Manual stock-level changes made directly in WooCommerce will be overwritten by Qoblex, and inventory-changing activities such as stock adjustments, stock transfers, and purchases must be performed within Qoblex.
Which warehouses feed the store
When inventory is set to Sync from Qoblex to WooCommerce, a second control appears: “Which warehouse inventory levels are reflected in your WooCommerce store?” WooCommerce holds a single stock figure per product, so you choose which Qoblex locations supply it. Select multiple locations to aggregate inventory levels across different warehouses into that one figure.
Section 2: Sale Order Synchronization
This section decides which Qoblex warehouse locations fulfil the sales orders that come in from WooCommerce. It answers: “Which locations to fulfill WooCommerce sale orders from?” Select more than one location to let Qoblex automatically split an order across different warehouses depending on product availability. When you pick more than one location, a fulfilment priority list appears with up and down arrows. Use the arrows to order the locations; orders are filled from the first location in the list that has available stock.
The full behaviour of this section (how splitting and priority work, and how the first location is used) is covered in WooCommerce sales order sync settings.
Section 3: Product Synchronization
This section controls how products are matched between the two systems, which direction product information flows, and which individual product fields are shared.
How Qoblex matches products
The first control answers: “How would you like Qoblex to identify and match similar products across different stores?” Choose the attribute Qoblex uses to recognise that a WooCommerce product and a Qoblex product are the same item: – Match products by name: this is the default. – Match products by SKU – Match products by barcode Pick the attribute that is most reliably filled in and unique across both systems. If your products always carry a SKU or barcode, matching on that is usually safer than matching on the name, because names are more likely to differ slightly between the two stores.
Product information sync direction
The next control answers: “How would you like us to sync your products information?” This dropdown offers all four directions: – Do not sync – Sync from Qoblex to WooCommerce – Sync from WooCommerce to Qoblex – Sync both ways: this is the default. If you set this to Do not sync, the rest of section 3 (the “sync new products” switch and the field checkboxes) is hidden, because there is nothing to sync.
Automatically sync new products
When Qoblex is a source of product information (that is, when product sync is set to Sync from Qoblex to WooCommerce or Sync both ways), an extra switch appears: – Would you like to automatically sync new products created in Qoblex to WooCommerce? When on, a product you create in Qoblex is pushed to the store automatically. On by default. If you turn this off, new Qoblex products are not pushed automatically and you would add them to WooCommerce yourself.
Which product properties to sync
Below the direction, Qoblex asks: “Which product properties and attributes would you like to sync?” Each attribute is an independent checkbox, and each is on by default. Turn off any attribute you would rather manage separately in each system. | Checkbox | What it controls | | — | — | | Name / Title | The product name or title. | | Inventory Tracking Policy | Whether an item is tracked or not. | | Options and their values (ex. color, size…) | The product’s options and their values, such as colour or size. | | Description | The product description. | | Product Handle (url) | The product handle, which forms part of its store URL. | | Images | The product images. | | Product Tags | The product tags. | | Continue selling when sold out | Whether an item can be oversold. |
Section 4: Pricing Synchronization
This section controls whether prices flow between the systems and which Qoblex price lists supply the store’s price and Compare At price.
Price sync direction
The control answers: “How would you like us to sync your product prices?” It offers three directions: – Sync from WooCommerce to Qoblex: this is the default.
Price list and Compare At price list
Two dropdowns decide which Qoblex price lists feed the store: – “Which price list would you like to assign to your product prices on your store?” This is the price list Qoblex uses for the store’s selling price. – “Which price list would you like to assign to your product Compare At prices on your store?” This is the price list Qoblex uses for the Compare At price (the “was” price shown struck through on the storefront). Each list is shown with its currency symbol in parentheses. Qoblex validates these two lists when you save: – The Price and Compare At price lists must be different. – The Price and Compare At price lists must have the same currency. – A chosen Price or Compare At list must have the same currency as your store. If any of these fail, Qoblex shows the message above the buttons and does not save until you resolve it.
Saving your settings
The buttons at the bottom of the page depend on whether this is a store you are configuring for the first time or one you have already finished setting up. For a new store that you are configuring for the first time: – Finish Setting Up Your store: validates and saves your settings, then opens the Import Products dialog so you can bring your WooCommerce catalogue into Qoblex. Choosing this is how you complete setup. See Finishing setup and importing products. – Save: validates and saves your settings without opening the import dialog. For a store you have already set up: – Save: validates and saves your changes. – Cancel: discards your unsaved changes and leaves the page. If you try to navigate away with unsaved changes, Qoblex warns you: “You have pending changes, if you leave this page you will lose those changes. Do you want to continue?”
Disconnecting the store
To remove the integration, click Disconnect store at the bottom of the settings page. Qoblex asks you to confirm (“Are you sure you want to uninstall this Addon?”) before uninstalling. Once confirmed, the store is disconnected and you are returned to the Integrations list.
