Customer B2B invitations are managed from the Customers page. Sale agent invitations are also sent from the Customers page and are linked to the selected customers.
Use customer invitations when the selected contacts should be able to place orders through the B2B portal. Use sale-agent invitations when one or more agent email addresses should be connected to the selected customers.
Requirements
These actions require the B2B portal integration to be installed:
- Invite Customers.
- Invite Sale Agents.
- Assign Groups.
If B2B is not installed, Qoblex shows B2B Portal Not Installed and Please install the B2B portal before proceeding with this operation.
Before inviting, confirm the B2B portal address, customer groups, default settings, and visible products are ready for the invited audience.
Invite Customers
- Open Contacts > Customers.
- Select one or more customers.
- Open Bulk Actions.
- Select Invite Customers under the B2B PORTAL section.
- Confirm the invitation.
Qoblex asks Are you sure you want to invite the selected contacts to the B2B portal? and explains The invited contacts will be able to place orders through the B2B portal. Confirm with Yes, proceed! or cancel with No, cancel!.
When the invitations are sent, Qoblex shows The invitations have been sent! and reloads the Customers table.
If no customers are selected, Qoblex shows No contacts selected and Please select one or more contacts and try again.
After invitation, review the B2B column to confirm invited status and tell the customer contacts to use the portal invitation flow they receive.
B2B Invitation Status
The Customers list includes a B2B column. A check icon appears when a customer has been invited to B2B. The icon title is Customer invited to B2B.
Use this column before sending repeat invitations. It helps identify contacts that have already been invited.
Invite Sale Agents
- Open Contacts > Customers.
- Select one or more customers.
- Open Bulk Actions.
- Select Invite Sale Agents under the B2B PORTAL section.
- In Invite Sale Agents, enter one or more sale agent email addresses.
- Select Send.
The dialog label says Enter sale agent emails to invite to your B2B portal. The email field accepts multiple email entries as tags. Qoblex sends the selected email addresses as sale agent invitations for the selected customer contacts.
Review the entered email addresses before sending. The invitation dialog accepts typed entries as tags and returns them to the Customers page for sending.
When the invitations are sent, Qoblex shows The invitations have been sent!.
If you close the dialog without entering email addresses, Qoblex does not send sale agent invitations. If no customers are selected before opening the dialog, Qoblex shows No contacts selected and Please select one or more contacts and try again.
Review sale-agent email tags carefully before selecting Send. Each entered address is sent as a sale-agent invitation for the selected customers.
Review Sale Agents on a Customer
Open the customer contact and select the B2B Agents tab.
The tab lists sale agent email addresses linked to the customer. From this tab, you can remove sale agents and save the contact.
See Contact people and sale agents.
Use the B2B Agents tab after sending invitations to verify which sale-agent email addresses are linked to a customer.
Invitation Errors
If an invitation fails, Qoblex shows an error asking you to check the activity feed or contact support. For sale agent invitations, the message identifies that Qoblex could not invite sale agents.
For sale agent invitation failures, Qoblex shows Oops! Something went wrong when trying to invite sale agents. Please check the activity feed for more details or contact support.
For customer B2B invitation failures, Qoblex may show Oops! Something went wrong when trying to delete the selected contacts. Please check the activity feed for more details or contact support even though the action was an invitation. If this appears after selecting Invite Customers, treat it as an invitation failure and check the activity feed for the underlying error.
