Inventory Control Software
Most businesses end up with two versions of the truth: the number in the spreadsheet and the number on the shelf. They agree on Monday and have drifted apart by Friday, because a sale, a delivery and a transfer each changed the count and only some of them got written down. Qoblex keeps one figure for every product in every location and moves it when a document moves it, so what you read on screen is what is in the building.
One count, kept right by the work you already do
Nobody has time to maintain a stock figure as a separate job. Every order, receipt, transfer and count in Qoblex moves the number as a side effect of being recorded, which is why it is still right a month later.
Know what is free to sell
Qoblex keeps total, allocated, buffer and available apart. Stock promised to an open order stops counting as sellable the moment the order is taken, so two people cannot sell the same unit while both read a number that says it is there.
Find out you are low in time to buy
Set a reorder point on any variant and the Reorder Inventory report lists everything that has reached it. Pick the suppliers, and purchase orders are raised from the report itself. You hear about it while there is still time to order, not when a customer asks.
Find any product in a few seconds
Search and filter on anything you record: SKU, barcode, supplier code, brand, tag or location. Save the filter you use every morning as its own tab, so the list opens on the products you actually work with.
Sizes and colours without duplicate SKUs
One product carries its own variants, each with its own SKU, barcode, price and stock. You stop keeping nine near-identical products that have to be edited nine times, and reports group them the way a customer thinks about them.
Sell sets without packing them first
A bundle is a group of products sold as one line. The components stay on the shelf as themselves until the bundle sells, so nothing is tied up in pre-packed kits and the same stock can go out on its own or as part of a set.
Bring in the catalogue you already have
Products, variants, prices and opening stock come in from a spreadsheet, or straight from a connected store. Download the template, fill it in, upload it. Nobody retypes six hundred products to get started.
Change a thousand products at once
A price rise, a supplier change or a new tag can be applied to a whole selection, in a spreadsheet-style editor or by CSV. The alternative is opening each product, which is how half a price list ends up updated.
Every count leaves a record
Adjustments and stocktakes are documents, with a reason, a date and the person who made them. When a figure looks wrong, the question is which change caused it rather than who touched the spreadsheet last.
Answer what you held three months ago
Historic Inventory rebuilds your stock position at any date from the movements behind it. It is the report an accountant asks for at year end, and the one nobody can produce from a spreadsheet that only holds today.

…the answer to many inventory and accounting challenges I faced with a slightly complicated type of product…Now I am able to quite easily control the inventory of the packages even if the item is sold individually or in multiple other packages on the website.
Frequently asked questions
Inventory control, spreadsheets, and switching to Qoblex.
What is inventory control software?
Inventory control software keeps one record of what you hold, where it is, and what is already promised to a customer. It updates that record from the orders, receipts and counts your team enters anyway, so the figure is maintained as a result of normal work rather than as a separate job somebody has to remember.
Is Qoblex suitable if I am an eCommerce business?
Yes. You can connect Shopify and WooCommerce to one master inventory that adjusts as orders come in, and sell the same stock through a wholesale B2B portal at different prices. Orders from every channel land in one list, and fulfilling one in Qoblex marks it fulfilled in the store it came from.
Why use inventory software rather than a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet lets anyone change a number without leaving a trace of why. That is fine until two people are editing it, or until a figure is wrong and nobody can say when it stopped being right. In Qoblex a stock figure only moves when a document moves it, every change is attributed, and the same data drives your orders, your reports and your accounting sync.
How is this different from an ERP?
An ERP is built to run a whole company and priced accordingly, and inventory is usually one module among many. Qoblex does stock, orders, purchasing, manufacturing and the accounting sync, for small and growing businesses, at a monthly price. There is no implementation project and no consultant needed to get started.
How hard is it to move off spreadsheets?
Products, customers and suppliers come in as CSV files, or straight from a connected store. Opening stock goes in as a stocktake. Most businesses are running inside a day. If you would rather not do it alone, onboarding is a guided programme that runs it with you.
Do you support bundles and kits?
Yes. Group products into a bundle and sell it as one line, and the components come out of stock in the proportions you set. For one level of assembly, where raw materials become a finished product, use manufacturing, which records the build and its cost.
Does Qoblex handle returns?
Yes. A return brings the goods back into stock and a refund gives the money back, as two separate documents, and both sync to Xero or QuickBooks Online.
