Connect Amazon and choose a marketplace

Connecting Amazon lets Qoblex work with the Amazon marketplace where you sell. You start the connection from the Integrations page, pick the country your Amazon store operates in, and then confirm the connection on Amazon’s own Seller Central sign-in page. Once Amazon sends you back to Qoblex, the connection is finalized and named after the country you chose.

This article walks through connecting Amazon and choosing your marketplace. After you finish, you open the Amazon settings page from the Integrations page to set your defaults and import your products. To start, you need an active Amazon seller account for the marketplace (country) you want to connect.

Before you start

You will need the following:

  • An Amazon seller account with access to Seller Central for the marketplace (country) you want to connect.
  • Sign-in details for that Seller Central account, so you can authorize the connection when Amazon asks you to.

Each connection is tied to a single Amazon marketplace (country). If you sell in more than one country, connect each one separately by repeating these steps and choosing a different country each time.

Connect Amazon from the Integrations page

  1. Open the Integrations page in Qoblex.
  2. Find the Amazon card.
  3. Click Install on the Amazon card. A dropdown list of countries opens. Choose one of the 20 supported marketplaces (see Supported marketplaces below). The list also shows South Africa and Belgium, but these do not connect, so do not select them.
  4. Click the country that matches your Amazon marketplace. Qoblex immediately sends you to that country’s Amazon Seller Central sign-in page to authorize the connection.
  5. On the Amazon page, sign in to your Seller Central account (if you are not already signed in) and approve the request to let Qoblex connect to your account.
  6. Amazon returns you to Qoblex and finalizes the connection. Qoblex names the connection after the country you chose. You land back in Qoblex on your main dashboard.
  7. To finish your setup, go back to the Integrations page. The Amazon card now shows a Settings control. Click Settings, then click your connection (listed under the country name you chose) to open the Amazon settings page. The Install control also stays on the card, so if you sell in more than one country you can add another marketplace from here (see the note in Before you start).

You must complete the authorization on Amazon for the connection to finish. If you do not approve the request on Seller Central, Qoblex does not receive the authorization and the connection is not established.

Once the connection is finalized, Qoblex securely stores the authorization it receives from Amazon so it can keep your store in sync. You do not need to re-enter it.

Supported marketplaces

Qoblex fully supports these 20 Amazon marketplaces:

  • Canada
  • US
  • Mexico
  • Brazil
  • Spain
  • UK
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Sweden
  • Poland
  • Egypt
  • Turkey
  • Saudi Arabia
  • U.A.E.
  • India
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • Japan

The Install dropdown also lists South Africa and Belgium, but Qoblex does not support them. If you select either one, the connection fails and Amazon does not send you back to Qoblex. Do not choose South Africa or Belgium. Pick one of the 20 supported marketplaces above.

Choose the country that matches the Amazon marketplace where you actually sell. This determines which Seller Central sign-in page Qoblex sends you to and which marketplace the connection is tied to.

After you connect

After Amazon sends you back to Qoblex, open the connection from the Integrations page: on the Amazon card, click Settings, then click your connection (listed under the country name you chose). This opens the Amazon settings page, which shows your country name as its title. The page has two tabs, Settings and Product Sync Status, and opens on the Settings tab.

From here you finish your setup:

Troubleshooting

If connecting does not go as expected, use the checks below.

I selected my country but the connection failed or errored
Qoblex fully supports the 20 marketplaces listed under Supported marketplaces above. The Install dropdown also lists South Africa and Belgium, but Qoblex does not support these two, so choosing either one makes the connection fail and Amazon does not send you back to Qoblex. Restart the connection from the Integrations page and choose one of the 20 supported marketplaces. Contact support if you need South Africa, Belgium, or another marketplace that is not supported.
The country I sell in is not in the list
The Install list covers the marketplaces Qoblex works with for Amazon (see Supported marketplaces above). If your country is not listed, or it appears but is not one of the 20 supported marketplaces, Qoblex cannot connect it at this time. Contact support if you need a marketplace that Qoblex does not support.
Amazon did not send me back to Qoblex
The connection is only finalized after you approve the request on Amazon’s Seller Central page. If you closed the Amazon page, cancelled, or did not approve the request, return to the Integrations page, click Install on the Amazon card, choose your country again, and complete the sign-in and approval on Amazon.
I finished on Amazon but I am not on the settings page
After you approve the connection, Amazon returns you to your main Qoblex dashboard, not to the Amazon settings page. This is expected. To reach the settings page, go to the Integrations page, click Settings on the Amazon card, and click your connection (listed under your country name).
I signed in with the wrong Amazon account
The connection is tied to the Seller Central account you authorize. If you signed in with the wrong account, restart the connection from the Integrations page and sign in to the correct Seller Central account for the marketplace you want to connect.
