Upload a Contact Logo
Select the logo placeholder to choose an image file.
Accepted logo file formats are:
.gif.jpg.jpeg.png
If the selected file is not one of these formats, Qoblex shows must be in .png, .jpg, .jpeg or .gif file format for the selected file and does not apply the logo.
Qoblex previews the selected logo immediately in the editor. Select Save & Close to keep the logo on the contact.
Remove a Contact Logo
When a logo is present, select the delete icon on the logo preview. Qoblex clears the logo from the contact record. Save the contact to keep the change.

For customer records, addresses can also be marked as default shipping or default billing addresses.
See Addresses and default customer addresses.

Use the Advanced tab for commercial, tax, pricing, and internal notes.
Available fields include:
- Account Manager.
- Business Type.
- Sales Tax class for customers.
- Purchase Tax class for suppliers.

- Currency for suppliers.

Payment terms are loaded for existing contacts. If Qoblex cannot load payment terms, it shows an error asking you to refresh the page.
Save a Contact
Select Save & Close.
Qoblex validates the contact before saving. Validation includes:
- Company name must be present. If it is missing, Qoblex shows Please enter a valid company name.
- At least one address must be defined. If none exists, Qoblex shows Contacts must have at least one address defined.
- The main email must be a valid email address. If it is invalid, Qoblex shows Please enter a valid user email.
- Each contact person must have a name and an email value. If a row is incomplete, Qoblex shows One or more contacts has an empty name.
- Each contact person’s email must be valid. If an email is invalid, Qoblex identifies the affected contact person.
When the contact saves successfully, Qoblex shows Contact information saved and closes the dialog.
If you removed sale agents in the Agents tab, Qoblex deletes those sale agent links during the same save. If the contact save succeeds but sale agent deletion fails, Qoblex shows a sale-agent deletion error and asks you to refresh the page.
Validation Before Adding the First Address
When you create a brand-new contact, Qoblex saves the base contact before opening the address editor. Before it does that, it checks:
- Company name is present.
- Primary contact person is present.
- Email is present and valid.
If these details are missing or invalid, Qoblex shows validation messages and does not open the address editor.
After those details pass validation, Qoblex saves the base contact, assigns the contact record an ID, loads sale agents and payment terms for the saved contact, and then opens the address editor.
Cancel Changes
Select Cancel Changes to close the editor without saving the current edits. Qoblex rejects changes made to the contact, its addresses, and its contact people during the dialog session.
If you deleted contact people in the dialog and then cancel, Qoblex restores them for that session. Unsaved sale-agent removals are also discarded because the deletion is only sent when you save the contact.
Delete a Contact from the Editor
For existing contacts, select Delete Contact.
Qoblex asks Are you sure you want to delete this contact. If you confirm, the contact is marked as deleted and the editor closes.
