The Quotes screen lists your quotes in a table you can narrow down to the exact records you need. You find quotes by building filters in the Filters panel (for example a quote number, a customer, or a due-date range), and by switching between the All tab and any saved custom views across the top of the screen.
This article covers the Filters panel, which quote fields you can filter on, how active filters and sorting are shown above the table, and how the tabs scope the list. To turn the current filters into a reusable tab, see Save and manage custom quote views.
Open the quotes list
Open Sales > Quotes.
The page opens on the All tab, which shows every quote. If your team has saved custom views, each one appears as its own tab to the right of All. Selecting a tab switches the list to that view.
There is no separate search box on this screen. All finding is done through the Filters panel and the tabs. The Filters panel does include a Search box, but it only searches the list of filterable fields inside the field dropdown, not your quotes.
Add a filter
- On the quotes list, select Filters. A panel opens from the side of the screen.
- Select Add Filter.
- Open the field dropdown and pick the quote field you want to filter on. Before you choose a field it shows the Filter by placeholder; once a field is selected it shows that field’s label. You can type in the Search box at the top of the dropdown to find a field quickly.
- If the field is a text field, choose an operator from the second dropdown (for example Contains or Equal). State and date fields have no operator dropdown.
- Enter or select the filter value.
- Select Add Filter again for any additional conditions, or use the x on a row to remove it.
- Select Apply.
The list reloads to show only the quotes that match. Use Reset in the panel to clear all conditions and return to the full list.
Fields you can filter on
The standard quote filters are:
- Quote number (text)
- Customer (text)
- State (a selectable list of states/regions)
- Mobile phone (text)
- Land line phone (text)
- Sale agent (text)
- Created date (date range)
- Due date (date range)
- Tags (text)
State offers a selectable list of values rather than free text and has no operator dropdown. Created date and Due date are date-range filters, so set the range where needed; they also have no operator dropdown. The remaining standard fields are text filters and offer an operator dropdown with these options, in this order: Contains, Does not Contains, Start with, Does not Starts with, End with, Does not Ends with, Not Equal, and Equal.
Custom field filters
If your quotes use custom fields, Qoblex adds matching text filters for them automatically. Each is labelled namespace – field using the custom field’s namespace and key.
These custom field filters are built from the quotes currently loaded in the list, so a custom field filter only appears when the current results actually contain that field’s data. If a custom field filter is missing, clear other filters so the results include quotes that carry that field, then reopen Filters.
Review active filters and sorting
When one or more filters or a sort are active, Qoblex shows them above the table:
- Each active filter appears as a chip. Select the chip to reopen the Filters panel, or select the x on a chip to remove that single filter.
- An active sort appears as a separate Sorting pill with a count. Select it to open a menu where you can flip each sort direction or remove a sort; select the x on the pill to clear all sorting.
Reviewing the chips and the Sorting pill is the quickest way to see what is currently limiting or ordering the list. Active filters are the most common reason a quote does not appear.
Save the current filters as a view
When a filter or sort is active, a Save view control appears next to the active-filter chips. Selecting it lets you save the current filters, sorting, and visible columns as a reusable tab.
If no filter or sort is active, Save view is not shown, so add at least one filter or sort first. For the full workflow, see Save and manage custom quote views.
How tabs scope the list
- All shows every quote with no saved filters applied. Use it as the broadest starting point.
- A saved custom view tab loads that view’s saved filters, sorting, and columns when you open it. Filters you add while on a custom tab apply on top of the saved view.
If a quote seems to be missing from a custom view tab, switch to All to check whether the saved filters on the view were hiding it.
