The Users page is where you manage who can sign in to your Qoblex organization and exactly what each person can see and do. Every team member appears as a card, and each user carries their own set of permissions across the Qoblex sections.
This article gives you an orientation to the page: who can open it, what the user cards show, how invitations work, and how permissions are organized. After reading it you will know what each part of the page does and which task article to follow for creating, updating, inviting, or removing a user.
Who can open the Users page
The Users page is itself permission-controlled. The toolbar — the search box, the Invite Partner button, and the Create User button — only appears for users who have View permission on Users & Access Management. A user without that permission does not see these controls and cannot reach the page through the normal menu.
Grant this permission only to people you trust to manage team access, because a user who can manage users can also grant access to others.
The Users toolbar
When you have access, the page header shows:
- A Search user by name, email box to filter the user cards.
- An Invite Partner button, which opens a dialog to invite an external partner by email address.
- A Create User button, which opens the create-user panel.
See Create and invite a user and Invite a partner for the full steps.
User cards
Each team member appears as a card showing:
- Avatar initials drawn from the user’s name.
- The user’s name and email.
- A verification badge next to the name. The badge tooltip reads This user email is already verified. when the email is verified, or Email is not verified yet ! when it is not.
- A You ribbon on your own card, so you can identify yourself at a glance.
- A This user has not joined yet label on users who were created but have not yet accepted their invitation.
Click any card to open the Update User panel, where you can change the user’s details and permissions. See Update a user.
Invitations
Creating a user does two things in one step: it creates the user record and then sends them an invitation email. Both inviting a new user and inviting a partner require you to complete a verification challenge (the on-screen security check) before the invitation is sent.
If a user has not joined yet, you can resend their invitation from the Update User panel using the Reinvite User button.
Editable user details
The Update User panel lets you change a user’s name and time zone. The email field is shown but locked once the user exists — you cannot edit an existing user’s email directly. The Change your email link explains the supported workaround: add a new user with the correct email, have them accept the invitation and join the organization, then delete the old user.
Permissions
Permissions decide what each user can view and manage. They are set in a permissions matrix at the bottom of the create-user and update-user panels, grouped by Qoblex section (Dashboard, Inventory, Stock Control, Sales, Contacts, Reporting, Integrations, and more).
Each group expands to show the actions you can grant. Most sections offer a single View action today; a few offer more — for example, Purchase Orders also offers Approve. The matrix gives you:
- A Select all permissions checkbox to grant or clear everything at once.
- An Expand all / Collapse all toggle to open or close every group.
- A per-group checkbox to grant or clear a whole section, with a summary (Full access, Partial access, or No access) and an active/total count beside each group.
For the full walkthrough, see Set a user’s permissions.
Grant permissions based on the person’s job. Find the specific section they need rather than granting broad access to solve one missing menu item.
Removing a user
To remove someone from the organization, open their card and use Delete in the Update User panel. You cannot delete your own signed-in user. Use a permission change instead of deletion when the person should keep their account but lose access to one area. See Delete a user.
